Making Data Work: Data Strategy, Indicators and Dashboards
As part of the VISION Project, the one-day training course “Data Strategy, Indicators & Dashboard” was held at the Institut Pasteur de Tunis, bringing together participants to explore how data can be transformed into meaningful information to support strategic planning and evidence-based decision-making.
The training combined interactive discussions, real-world examples and hands-on exercises, allowing participants to explore key concepts related to data strategy, performance indicators and dashboard design.
Throughout the session, participants examined how a well-defined data strategy can support organisational objectives, how appropriate indicators can be used to monitor progress and performance, and how dashboards can help communicate complex information in a clear and actionable way.
By combining conceptual knowledge with practical exercises, the training provided participants with tools to better understand, structure and communicate data within their professional environments.
The session was led by Lisa Amar, from the Transformation and Strategic Project Office at Institut Pasteur, whose expertise and practical approach contributed to a dynamic and engaging learning environment. The training was coordinated by Imène Najjar, supporting its organisation and implementation.
The VISION team thanks Lisa for leading the session and all participants for their active engagement, thoughtful discussions and valuable contributions throughout the day.
Through training activities such as this, VISION continues to strengthen professional capacities, promote data-informed practices and equip researchers and professionals with skills that support effective decision-making and organisational development.
